Here are steps by steps on how to setup Mobile version of your site on Mobstac:

Sign-up for your Mobstac blogger account – You will need to put an invite code for successful sign-up (Put TRAKINFAN)

Login to your email to activate your account by copying the link into your browser

You will see this after your account has been activated

Sign in to your MobStac Account

Now, key in your Blog URL and click “Scan”

Enter your URL (For Eg: http://www.rosamundwo.com) and let Mobstac scan your site.

Next, download plugin into your wordpress

Key in your API Key and fill in your URL Link

How to add Cname record and make it point to mobstac

Now go to your Cpanel and find “Simple DNS Zone Editor” to add the Cname record and make it point to mobstac.com given URL

After you add cname and point to mobstac, you will see as below

Go to m.rosamundwo.com and you will see as below

So there you have it – The mobile version of your blog.

How to show full summary of your feeds

1) Go to you wordpress admin —> Reading—>For each article in a feed, show —> Show full text

2) Under your wordpress Settings  “Similar Post”—>go to Placement –>Output in RSS feeds: set to “No”–> Save Settings

An early beta tester version of WordPress 3.0 Beta 1 is available for download now, it’s a merge between WordPress and WordPress MU (WordPress Multi User) WordPress that allows multiple blogs to operate from a single installation. In this version, it allows user to create network of sites by adding a few lines in your wpconfig.php.

What’s New in WordPress 3.1:

1. Merge of WordPress MU + WordPress.org: So now you can have multiple sites in one installation.

2. Custom Post Types/Better CMS: This was originally a Feature planned for wordpress 2.9, but due to some technical difficulties, this feature did not make it in. but now WordPress 3.0 will be Combining Post Types and Taxonomies will make WordPress a much more robust CMS option. This feature will allow you to have different type of posts for example Product listing, portflios and then Normal blog posts, which is a Great feature indeed.

3. Better Navigation Menus: Custom Woo Navigation will be included to the core in this release in order to allow for better menu management.

4. New Default Theme: WordPress 3.0 comes with a new default theme known as 2010. From this year on, the goal is to have a new theme for every year.

5. More customization: Custom Background Support: Support for custom background can be called by adding a line in your functions.php.

6. Author Specific Templates: In WordPress 3.0, you can create specific templates for each author. The function get_author_template(); has been expanded in wp-includes/theme.php.

7. Canonical Plugins: Canonical plugins are developed by a community instead of one developer, so if one person steps down, the plugin does not die.

I am pretty sure most of us (bloggers) had experienced this situation before. Some have choose to moderate comments before it can appear publicly. Majority of abusive commentors will use fake emails, these people are irresponsible, unethical and afraid to reveal their real identity for their own comments.

In this world, some may agree or disagree with a topic from a blog. But then again, accusation is a not excusable. You can’t simply accuse someone whom you don’t know in reality.

The situation is the same action as stepping into a cafeteria X brand and yelling and shouting to their customers their coffee sucks!. Yeah, you may shout and yell as loudly as you like. Their supervisor might kick you out. Anyway who would do that action, it’s so silly.

The same goes here, negative comments and accusation on someone else blog and you know who will kick you out? Nay, i can’t kick anybody out because it’s a blog. But as a blog owner, i can moderate abusive comments. Isn’t it wonderful.

I have a great suggestion for abusive commentators, they should set up their own blog and post more of these comments just to create some fun for themselves. I mean, perhaps is their interest since they love to abuse other’s people blog why not abuse own blog.

I’ve created pictorial step-by-step because “A Picture is worth a thousand words”. Here i assume you know what is a cpanel, google adsense code and a little bit of html and php knowledge. It’s okay if you don’t know php or html because i don’t know how to code also, but as times goes by you will recognize the flow of  coding.

Recently in Popular book fair, i’ve purchased this PHP book the title is “Head First PHP & MySQL“ By “O’Reilly (written by Lynn Beighley & Michael Morrison). A very unique written book with pictures, arrows, jokes and more, unlike just wordings in some books. (price: RM148.45 @ Kinokuniya – KLCC).

I am using Redsilver theme, and i need to add into/edit the overall header php

Successfully added google adsense and you need to blend with your background color.

Other tools used are: Paint.net (if you know how to use Paint.net you can color pick background color)
